We present the two big new products from Arva. When it comes to mountain safety, Arva is the benchmark brand, offering a new dva, the Neo Pro, and an airbag jacket, the Reactor Vest. We tell you more about these two new products.

The NEO PRO is ARVA's new top-of-the-range avalanche transceiver, incorporating all the "expert" functions essential to professional rescue, such as analog mode, standby mode and the SCROLLING function for targeting the desired victim. An easy-to-use settings menu with "+" and "-" keys enables users to customize their device. The NEO PRO is equipped with a soft holster for greater adaptability to a wide range of body shapes.

Functions of the new Arva Neo Pro avalanche transceiver:

• 70M search bandwidth: The search bandwidth corresponds to the width of the zone "scanned" by the searching device. The greater the search bandwidth, the greater the search area covered by the device. It is often used to compare device performance.
• GROUP CHECK: The group-check function is a simple way of ensuring that all members of a group are carrying a transmitting avalanche transceiver. The group-check function places the device in proximity search mode, allowing you to check each member of the group individually from a distance of less than one meter.
• MARKING FUNCTION: In search mode, once a victim has been located, the marking function allows you to ignore this victim and concentrate on finding another. The signal from the "marked" victim is then no longer taken into account for the rest of the search. The multiple burial indicator displays a "+" when there are more than 3 victims.
• REVERT-TO-TRANSMIT: During a search in the event of an over-avalanche, the return-to-transmit function enables the unit to return to transmit mode automatically, without any action on the part of the user. Return to transmission is performed either by timer, i.e. after a delay without user action, or by motion detector, after a delay without device movement. These delays can be set in the device configuration menu.
• INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT : Interference management optimizes the performance of the search device in an environment "polluted" by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the search device automatically reduces the search bandwidth to concentrate on the signal from the device being searched, ignoring any interfering frequencies. This function can be disabled by the user.
• STANDBY MODE: The device in standby mode is neither searching nor transmitting. This function is designed to work on the avalanche without interfering with the search using the unit's waves. In the event of an avalanche, the return-to-transmit function automatically returns the unit to transmit mode. Analog mode lets you take full advantage of the maximum range of the main antenna.
• SCROLLING FUNCTION: The victim selection function allows you to organize a rescue operation by selecting the victim you are looking for, in order to divide the search as evenly as possible between rescuers. The identity of the victims is not displayed, but a list of victims is created in order of proximity, enabling the victim to be selected according to distance.
• 3 antennas to improve the chances of finding a signal and for greater precision in fine searches.
• U-TURN ALARM lets the rescuer know when he's heading in the wrong direction.
• Analog mode takes full advantage of the maximum range of the main antenna.
• Digital signal processing guides the rescuer more effectively towards the burial zone.
• Self-testing enables the device to perform a diagnostic to check that all main functions are operating correctly.
• The backlit display offers high contrast in all lighting conditions.

A second skin

Comfort was Arva's top priority. The R15 VEST is available in two sizes to suit all body shapes, and is constructed with TAILOR-FIT shoulder straps and adjustable elastic side straps. With the thermoformable back and the load well distributed over your body, your shoulders move freely and you feel like you're carrying nothing on your back.

Unrivalled stability

The brand has focused all its efforts on delivering comfort and stability. That's why Arva has completely redesigned the airbags, to bring the R15 VEST's center of gravity as close to your back as possible. Nothing will be able to throw you off balance.

Easy-access pockets

Quick access to most of your tools and equipment without having to remove your backpack will quickly become a habit. The front of the R15 vest is designed with 4 high-volume pockets as well as 2 large pockets, one on each side of the zipper, making it easy to grab any safety gear or other essentials.

Wearing straps

The vest features a versatile strap holder for carrying diagonal skis or a snowboard. You can also attach the ARVA helmet holder (sold separately).

MOLLE system compatibility

For even greater modularity, the vest's shoulder straps have been designed with buckles that meet MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Loadcarrying Equipment) standards. You can easily attach a radio or a wide variety of third-party accessories that comply with this standard.

Release handle pouch

To ensure that your airbag doesn't deploy unintentionally when maneuvering away from avalanche-prone slopes, the release handle can be stored in its own pocket.
