A LITTLE HISTORY

The birth of C.A.M.P. dates back to 1889, when Nicola Codega, a skilled blacksmith, set up a small wrought-iron workshop in Premana, Italy, in the Lombard Pre-Alps. 120 years and four generations later, Premana is still the headquarters of the company, which now exports mountain and industrial safety equipment to 77 countries under 3 brands: C.A.M.P. , C.A.M.P. Safety and CASSIN. Mountain equipment first appeared in 1920 in the activities of CAMP, with the first ice axes for alpine troops.

C.A.M.P. Francehas been a subsidiary of CAMP Italy since 1988. Based in Sallanches, at the foot of Mont Blanc, the company is close to its core business. It is an autonomous unit, with its own warehouse, sales, administration, accounting and after-sales service departments.

The Sport activity of C.A.M.P. s Sports business is wide-ranging, from rock climbing to trail running, ice climbing, trekking, ski touring...
