The PETZL design office, located in Crolles, France, integrates all the skills involved in product design: mechanical, textile, electronic, optical and IT. The PETZL production sites are based in France at Crolles, Eybens and Rotherens, and in Malaysia at Rawang. In terms of production, quality control is present throughout the production chain: self-control of operations by production machines, human controls at key points, reinforced by anti-error systems, and individual final control of each product.
