Arva concentrates all its expertise in an ultra-compact avalanche transceiver
French brand ARVA® continues to innovate in the field of avalanche transceivers, and will be presenting theEVO5 at the ISPO trade show in Munich next February. Intuitive and high-performance, theEVO5 is surprisingly compact.
EVO5a miniature avalanche transceiver:
At just 11cm high and 7cm wide, it's one of the most compact detectors on the market. Its size and featherweight ( 170g) make it easy to forget, without compromising performance in emergency situations.
Small but powerful :
Despite its compact size, the latest addition to the ARVA range offers performance worthy of the big boys. 50m search bandwidth, marker function and interference management for smartphones and other electronic devices are all part of the package. Automatic return to transmit in the event of over-avalanche also ensures a high level of safety. Group-check and U-turn indication round out the functionalities for ease of use.
Design and ergonomics :
The design and ergonomics of the device were taken into account right from the start of development of theEVO5 to make operation simple and intuitive. A 3-position slider, an extra-large display and a central marker button make the device easy to handle while searching.
Various carrying options:
L'EVO5 will be delivered with a carrying strap and a leash to allow the device to be slipped into a pocket, while maintaining a solid attachment around the waist.
A holster for traditional carrying will be offered as an option.
