RECCO®: RECCO® technology lets you contact professional avalanche rescue teams. It consists of RECCO® reflectors integrated into clothing, helmets, protective gear and boots. RECCO® detectors - used by over 800 organized rescue groups worldwide. Reflectors and detectors enable the precise location of the victim through the use of harmonic radar. However, they do not replace ARTVA transceivers. Complementarily functional, RECCO® technology is an additional tool that does not interfere with ARTVA transceivers, avalanche dogs or probes. It simply reduces the time taken by the rescue team and increases the chances of being found in time. On models in the Maestrale collection, the RECCO® reflector is installed on the Velcro® strap of the right boot.
