After the Duke launched in 2007, the Tour F12 launched in 2009 and the famous Kingpin in 2014, Marker continues to innovate in touring bindings in 2018 by presenting the brand-new Alpinist range!
Based in the Bavarian town of Penzberg, Marker has been revolutionizing ski bindings in terms of performance and safety for 66 years, whether for alpine, freeride or touring skiing. After the success of the Marker Kingpin, 2 years of development work led to the creation of the Marker Alpinist.
This ultralight binding with inserts will once again shake up the market with its technologies and features:
o 245 grams / 335 grams with brakes Angle 0° for walking on long approaches, and 5° and 9° aids in addition: By lowering the wedge, you can switch from ski mode to the 5° wedge very quickly. And by turning the binding 180°, you can switch from 0° to 9° with a simple flick of the stick.
- Adjustable lateral release : DIN 4-9 for Alpinist 9 and DIN 6-12 for Alpinist 12
