TheProdigy 2 YTH is a ski designed for talented young freeride skiers , offering similar features to the Prodigy 2 but in shorter lengths. It's ideal for those whose skills outstrip their height. It features a poplar and beech core for excellent carving energy and landing absorption. Its elliptical sidecut, smooth rocker and durable components ensure effortless handling and exceptional durability.

Technical features:

  • Directional twin: The heel has a significantly slimmer silhouette than the tip, offering optimum alpine performance and total versatility in all situations. The twin heel invites you to adopt a playful, freestyle style, enabling switch riding with ease.
  • Elliptical radius sidecut: with a longer radius under the foot of the ski and shorter radii at the front and rear. The longer radius under the foot provides greater responsiveness and maneuverability, while the shorter radii make it easier to start turns smoothly. This sidecut configuration is ideal for a variety of turn lengths and angles.
  • 2.2mm edges: 2.2mm edges represent an increase in thickness over our standard 2.0mm edges, which are already very robust. This added steel gives skiers the guarantee of greater durability, helping them to withstand the stresses associated with certain practices even longer.
  • Poplar/Ember core: Poplar, light in color and soft in nature, is characterized by its good flex, responsiveness (pop) and ability to dampen vibrations effectively. Ash, on the other hand, is denser and more robust, and combines harmoniously with poplar to provide greater rigidity and durability. This combination ensures excellent grip on hard snow surfaces and creates a solid base for more demanding landings. What's more, it offers plenty of pop and flexibility to encourage your creativity and allow you to push your limits.
  • Chip-resistant Micro cap construction: fuses high-end edgewise sandwich construction with lightweight, durable cap construction. Thanks to this combination, the sandwich construction offers exceptional grip and stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge to protect the fragile edge that might otherwise flake off on impact.
  • Full srtenght sidewall construction: The full srtenght sidewall is a construction that adds layers of protective material along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge of the ski and the topsheet. This ensures optimum stability and grip when the ski takes a turn, while protecting the wood core, edges and top layer from possible external impact and damage.
  • Pair weight: 2.7 kg

The DUKE PT 16 100MM freerando binding from Marker combines performance and ease of use. This hybrid model combines a Ride & Hike front stop with an Inter Pivot 3 Freeride heel.

The 100mm Lock & Walk brakes offer a neutral walking mode with a 10° ascent wedge. Sole ID technology makes this binding compatible with alpine, touring or GripWalk soles.
