Overhaul of avalanche transceivers Arva

Please note that not all Arva avalanche transceivers are eligible for overhaul. Only the following models can be overhauled: Evo3+, Evo4, Evo5, Neo, Neo+, Neo Pro, Axio, and ProW (see photo).


Overhaul of DVA equipment Arva


Inspection and overhaul of Arva EQUIPMENT avalanche rescue transceivers:

Arva Equipment recommends that you have your devices serviced at the following intervals:

  • For standard use (< 60 days/year): every 3 years.
  • For intensive/professional use (> 60 days/year): annually, and at least every 2 years.

Please note: The overhaul procedure includes fifteen checkpoints, including frequency, transmission and reception tests, checking the buttons, display and battery contactors, as well as the possibility of updating the device if necessary. In the event of a system failure, such as a transmission or reception fault at Arva, the device will be unusable and will not be returned to its owner. Instead, a commercial offer will be presented to the customer, proposing the purchase of a new, functional device.

Procedure for servicing :

Simply print out your invoice (received by e-mail upon payment), or write down your first and last name and order number on a sheet of paper. Slip this together with your "well-protected" device into a parcel, then send the parcel by recorded delivery (to avoid any loss of your goods via the carriers) to the address below:

On receipt, your appliance will be sent to the manufacturer Arva for servicing.

As soon as the appliance is returned to us by the brand, we ship your overhauled appliance to your home.
