Kong Sport history: a heritage of safety
Kong, founded in 1830 by Giuseppe Bonaiti, began life in a small mechanical workshop at the foot of the Alps. From the outset, the company was committed to guaranteeing maximum protection for human lives, while dreaming of reaching the steepest peaks. This bold vision enabled Kong to export its products and philosophy around the world, making its carabiners a must-have for all climbing enthusiasts. In 1977, the company was renamed Kong, but its commitment to safety remained intact. To this day, every product is designed and manufactured in their factory in Monte Marenzo (LC), Italy.
