The SP Connect story
SP Connect is a brand belonging to the international SP United Holding AG group, with operations in Germany, Austria, Slovakia, China and the USA. Founded by Thomas Krenn in Birgel, Germany, in 1988, the company was initially dedicated to the manufacture of snowboard bindings. Even today, SP Bindings remains a recognized player in the market. Over the years, the company has evolved to specialize in tool design and manufacture, as well as injection molding. In parallel with this evolution towards the automotive industry, SP Connect was born.
Since 2002, products under the SP Connect brand have been manufactured in China and distributed in over 70 countries worldwide. The Vienna-based head office manages sales and product development while maintaining high quality standards thanks to German know-how. The product range has expanded to include a versatile smartphone mounting system launched in 2016.
