Immerse yourself in our history
At the time, professional photographers scoured France to capture images of traditional trades, creating postcards in the process. The photograph taken in our workshop in 1919 is the oldest visual record of our history. Master grinders" perform the grinding operation by hand on huge stone millstones. This ancestral know-how has been passed down through the generations, with Joseph Tarrerias and Marie Bonjean as emblematic figures of the early 20th century. Today, Carole and Eric TARRERIAS proudly represent the 11th generation of cutlers committed to offering unrivalled quality.
Supplier of excellence to the French Army
In 1995, TARRERIAS began working with the French Army, developing tools specially designed for military use. The Bivouac®, launched in 1996, became an icon among our products. Followed by the Baroudeur® and recently the Protecteur®, each model is precisely designed to meet the specific needs of military personnel. In partnership with Philippe PEROTTI, we also launched the C.A.C® (Combat Assistance Campagne), which was selected by the French Ministry of Defense thanks to its robust mechanics and field effectiveness.
